Now, schedules are great and should be followed, for the most part. If this FAQ was moved back to ensure that the game is better on the other side of it I am ok with that. Some things really need to change, and the set structure is designed to make sure that we have the best game possible.
Most of us would agree that 8th edition is far from perfect. And that the FAQs and erratas have not lived up to the notion of 8th being the greatest edition yet. Some changes have been heavy handed, and some were done only to appease the masses. Others have been avoided, and overlooked for reasons we can only speculate on. But, and this is a big but, there is still the chance to make 8th a great edition in more than name only. Rules can be added if need be for matched play, and other restrictions could be put in place to ensure we all enjoy the game.
When the designers and testers listen to the player base, they observe what the tournament scene puts out, and evaluate the product honestly, that is when we can have a healthy game. For all the problems of 8th edition, I remain hopeful that continued evaluation and adjustment will have 8th live up to its potential!
